In My Own Words

Like every other parent, my wife Stephanie and I worry about the world our kids are inheriting. We have the same conversations every family in District 111 has: How do we afford groceries when prices keep rising? How do we pay for healthcare when costs go up every year? Why are wages stagnant while housing prices skyrocket? Why do problems like climate change and inequality keep getting worse instead of better?

I'm not a politician; I work in software as a Quality Assurance Engineer. All of those problems sound like bugs to me! One of the most important things we do when we encounter a bug is to identify the root cause. What's the root cause of these bugs? To the rich and powerful this is a feature not a bug! Why haven't we 'squashed' these bugs? Because unlimited money is allowed to flow into Harrisburg through uncapped donations. Our elected representatives are allowed to buy and sell stocks based on inside information, and then immediately go work for the corporations they were supposed to regulate.

I enjoy what I get to do for a living. I identify problems and work across technical and business teams to come up with the best solutions we can for our customers. That's why I'm running for State House District 111. I want to help identify problems and work towards solutions for all Pennsylvanians. We need our representatives to tell health insurance companies "No, I won't take your money so you can continue to set record profits off denying the very care you charge for." We need our representatives to tell the corporate food industry "No, I won't take your money while you squeeze our local farmers and markets out of business while jacking up grocery prices." We need our representatives to tell the pharmaceutical companies "No, I won't take your money you made profiting off of families like mine that lost loved ones to addiction."
When corporate lobbyists demand I protect their profits over your family, I'll say no! Because I won't owe them anything. I'll fight for healthcare for all, supporting our local farmers, making housing and groceries affordable, treatment instead of incarceration, and getting corporate money out of politics for good. That's what Pennsylvanians over Profits means.
